3-D Printed Jewelry

Silver nativity pendant

I've always enjoyed trying new creative mediums, and 3-D printing has become one of my favorites. This silver nativity pendant was an exercise in designing at the edge of the manufacturing process, balancing intricate detail with the structural limits of thin walls, open spans, and unsupported forms.

Silver nativity pendant, a star above a stylized holy family, lying on green tissue paper.
The pendant held across four fingertips, showing its scale and the open bridged spaces around the star.
The pendant worn against a black knit, raking light picking out the star's facets and the figures inside the frame.
